If so, we can offer you the opportunity to join our team of scientists in the Department Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics Germany / Bioanalysis & Biomarkers and to take over the responsibility as a Post Doc (m/f).

Your multifaceted tasks

You will be responsible for the support of the implementation of LC-MS-based approaches as a new technology platform for the absolute quantification of molecular biomarkers within the Bioanalysis & Biomarkers group.

The major focus lies on the development and validation of LC-MS-based assays for the quantification of protein and peptide biomarkers in biological matrices and the application of these assays in clinical trials.

Your ideal qualification

You should have a university degree in a discipline such as Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related area and a Ph.D. in the field of proteomics.

In addition you possess expert knowledge in the application of LC-MS and nanoLC-MS for protein identification and quantification. Experiences in immunological assays and in handling of plasma, serum and other biological matrices are a plus. You are used to work with data base searches, e.g. Mascot, UniProt etc.

Personally you are open to new challenges, flexible in mind and enjoy goal- oriented tasks. Your high level of initiative, your systematic approach and your ability to work independently as well as in a team make you a perfect candidate for this position.

Due to the international nature of the tasks strong communication skills, a good command of German and fluency in written and spoken English are necessary.
