Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship, SMEs or Strategic Management (tenure track, 100%)

As of February 2021, or by mutual agreement. You will join a young, professional and highly successful team to further develop the university‘s profile in Asia. You will conduct research in a highly dynamic environment. You will teach in the Asia Term, St.Gallen‘s flagship exchange program for bachelor students as well as courses on the master level and strengthen our exchanges with Asian business partners. You will be engaged in executive education initiatives. You will develop your own research center and support the institute‘s activities with third party funding. You have a PhD in Management and working experience in academic institutions. You demonstrated a deep understanding of and a passion for Asia. You have a strong research track record with an internationally recognized publication record and proven teaching ability ideally in the fields of entrepreneurship, SMEs (and/or a focus on family business) or strategic management. However, we are also open to candidates with a profile in general management. You have an entrepreneurial mindset underlined by successful third party funding initiatives. The appointment is initially planned for 6 years. Based on a tenure track process, successful candidates can be promoted to a tenured Associate Professor position. After a successful period of taking over partial responsibilities in the management of the institute, the candidate is expected to assume the role of a co-director of the institute. The position is based in Singapore. You are willing to travel intensively between Europe and Singapore as well as within Asia.
