Among several other strategic interventions, the university is currently driving an ambitious expansion of digital sciences across its academic and scientific programs and activities, underpinned by significant new investments in personnel, research and relevant scientific equipment. This initiative is intended to improve integration and interdisciplinarity across the three schools in teaching, learning and research.
In this context, a new academic position, at the level of Assistant Professorships (teaching and research) has been opened in Economics.

Your Responsibilities:
In this position, you will support our teaching and research activities in the field of Economics, with a focus that complements and strengthens the activities in the School of Business, Social and Decision Sciences. Junior candidates with a strong research background are welcome. The School of Business, Social and Decision Sciences offers programs related to Economics, such as Global Economics and Management, Management, Decisions and Data Analytics, Earth Science and Sustainable Management of Environmental Resources, as well as other programs in development with students at both BSc and MSc level. You are expected to support teaching in Economics with a focus on developing and implementing innovative, pedagogically sound approaches to online, hybrid and in-person education. Furthermore, you will advise students on their studies and supervise Bachelor, Master’s and PhD theses and research projects.We offer:

Your qulifications:
- PhD degree in Economics or a related discipline
- Experience and success in teaching in the context of international and diverse environments
- Demonstrable interest in innovative teaching and learning approaches
- Strong publication record related to Economics or a related field
- Experience in transferring research knowledge to solving problems
- Responsible, self-motivated person able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English, the language of instruction and communication on campus
- Intercultural experience and competence
