The Division of Management offers highly regarded degrees at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels and is one of four divisions at the University of Waikato. We are seeking a Director of Global Engagement and Development to operationalise the University's International Plan as it aligns with the Division's strategy. You will be expected to work closely with the Division's Senior Leadership Team in developing an Internationalisation Plan with specific reference to international student recruitment; global partnership including international alumni, global student mobility and transnational education.
To succeed in this role you will hold a PhD or equivalent senior experience within an international education or business setting. Experience in a globally oriented education setting. You will demonstrate a strong track record of leadership and stakeholder management, together with a commitment to results-oriented, collaborative and evidence-based ways of working. The preferred applicant will be a skilled communicator, have strong relationship management skills and expertise in strategy development and implementation and be familiar with the recruitment and marketing dimensions of education abroad.
We are open to considering an appointment on a fulltime or part-time basis; applicants should state their preference.
