Full Professorship (W 3)
for Contemporary English Language

Strengths in the area of second language acquisition and/or pragmatics as well as a future participation in the Collaborative Research Center 1287 “The limits of variability in language“ are particularly welcome.
Applicants should be willing to establish a connection between their own research topics and the research focus of the Center for Language – Variation – Multilingualism at the Faculty of Arts. At the same time, they should connect readily with the research focus of Digital Humanities and contribute to the further development of both research foci. Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding, the organization of research projects and academic self-administration is expected.
