Head of the International Office
at Campus Ingolstadt
The initial appointment is for two years, with the possibility of a permanent post thereafter. Exceptionally qualified individuals will be offered a
permanent post at the beginning including a probationary period of 6 months.
Internationalization is a core element of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-
Ingolstadt and its School of Management in Ingolstadt, where the advertised
position is located. The university and the faculty maintain a large network of more
than 200 international partners worldwide. The international outlook is also reflected
in the study program, e.g. in double degree programs with French, Chinese
and Indian universities, a high and steadily growing number of international students
and academics on campus, and a large number of courses taught in English.
The International Office is a central service unit addressing all aspects of internationalization. It reports to the leadership of
the University, and cooperates with university faculties and central institutions. Its main function is to shape and
develop all matters related to the international development of the University, its students and staff.
We are looking to hire the head of the International Office at our campus in
Ingolstadt, who is also the deputy of the chief international officer of the University at large.
As head of the International Office at Campus Ingolstadt you will
lead a small and international team of dedicated professionals in Ingolstadt.
help develop the internationalization strategy of the University and its Ingolstadt
School of Management.
coordinate all activities related to incoming and outgoing students.
liaise between University leadership, faculty deans and professorial staff.
support the faculty in its efforts to achieve international accreditations.
maintain and expand our extensive network of international partners.
advise the faculty in developing international study programs.
help plan and run our international summer school.
assist in the acquisition of third-party funds.
Your profile includes
Master’s degree or equivalent.
knowledge of the German education system and of education systems in an
intercultural skills and experience of studying and/or working abroad.
willingness to travel.
planning and organizational skills.
excellent communication skills.
excellent proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of other foreign
languages is an advantage.
skills in using administrative software.
a can-do spirit and knack for thinking outside the box.

The Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt is a private, state-approved university
