Stifterverband grants for the
Lab for Open Innovation in Science (LOIS) 2018/19
In order to support outstanding German researchers,
two full grants
for attending the Lab for Open Innovation in Science (LOIS) 2018/19
of the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft.
LOIS is a professional development program for scientists. It enables
scientists to learn about and experiment with principles and methods of
Open Innovation along the entire scientific research process from generating
research questions to eventually translating scientific knowledge
into innovation. Stifterverband is a business community initiative advocating
long-term improvement of the German education and research
landscape. Funding is provided for the full program fee of 5.500 Euros
(travel and accommodation not included).
Stifterverband grants are open to applicants who meet the following
- Employment at a German institution/university or the German
branch of an institution/university and/or German citizenship
- Submission of an application letter:
Describe in max 300 words how you plan to share your learning from
LOIS. Concretize your ideas on how you will transfer your knowledge
and how your institution and its partners will benefit from your participation.
Name potential partners and their role (e.g. partner institutions, experts)

deadline (Nov 15, 2017)
Applicants will be informed if they have been admitted and will receive
the grant via e-mail by December 15, 2017!
