SRH is looking for a part-time Professor f/m/d of Digital Manufacturing and Industrial Automation from winter semester 2020/2021 to join our academic team
at the ,Berlin School of Technology.
Your Responsibilities:
Representing the area of expertise in teaching and research, this includes the design and delivery of lectures and seminars using English language, supervision and evaluation of projects, Bachelor and Master thesis, application and delivery of research projects in the advertised area of activity, publication (written and oral) of novel research results in recognized international journals of high standing and at conferences and workshops
Willingness to participate in the administration of the university, to contribute to the development of curricula of the degree course Digital Manufacturing and Industrial Automation
Willingness to take on a leading role
Participation in examination and appointment boards as well as other academic boards
Your Profile:
Engineering or industrial Engineering education
At least a good PhD in an Engineering or related subject, with relevance to the advertised field of expertise
Non-academic professional experience in one of the following fields:
additive manufacturing
data analysis
artificial intelligence within the context of industrial manufacturing
CAD design systems and digital twin
robotics
augmented and virtual reality
Teaching experience using German and / or English language
Record of research and publication activity in refereed academic journals, established network in national and international professional bodies, learned societies and innovation networks
Fulfillment of §100 Berlin University Act (BerlHG) for full-time teaching staff according to the state institution of higher education
