Your tasks

As a professor of the “Management in International Business” Bachelor course, you will be responsible for teaching in the course, administration tasks like compiling the teaching plans, assignments, marks and interviewing and recruiting new adjunct teaching staff. Your responsibilities also include the recruitment of partner organisations and the interviewing and selection of new students. Furthermore, you will be required to take an active part in the teaching of the bachelor students.

All members of academic staff work directly at the interface of business, teaching and research. As a young university, we are looking for dynamic, creative and team-oriented candidates who enjoy teaching at a high level and who are committed to working with us to continue to develop the University of Applied Management Studies.

Your profile

• Relevant studies (including doctoral level) in international business administration and or international economics (or similar fields), preferably PhD
• At least 5 years professional work experience, including management level activities
• Teaching and research experiences in international contexts
• Management-related teaching experience
• Should be able to teach Business Economics and International Economics, International Finance, and Strategic Management & Leadership. As secondary courses, the applicant should also be able teach some of the following courses: Business Computer Applications, Business Processes, Digital Transformation, Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, International Sales Management, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship in a Global Context.
• Ability to teach in English and a good command of the German language
