Professor (W3) of Microbiology (f/m/d)
The newly founded Institute (Director: Prof. Dr. Marchfelder) investigates molecular, microbiological, and genetic aspects of stress and resilience in bacteria and archaea. The new professorship should focus on the molecular mechanisms of microbial stress response and should investigate how these contribute to the organism`s resilience.

the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Medicine and should have connections to existing

The professorship will substantially contribute to the molecular and microbiological training of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Biology and Biochemistry. Teaching is conducted in
German and English. Participation in the academic self-administration of the faculty is expected.
