The Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Bonn invites applications for
Professor (W2 with Tenure Track W3)
to be filled as soon as possible.
We seek to appoint an internationally visible personality with a background in
economics and a future-oriented profile in multi-dimensional efficiency analysis
of agricultural production systems and value chains. The professorship focusses
on quantitative analyses of technology and management issues at different
scales taking economic and ecological aspects into account. The use of
methods from data science to deal with large biophysical and economic data
sets is most welcome. This professorship is part of the Cluster of Excellence
"Robotics and Phenotyping for Sustainable Crop Production". We expect
successful engagement in applications for research grants and willingness to
coordinate research programs. Teaching responsibilities encompass English
and German language modules in B.Sc- and M.Sc-programs.
Formal requirements are regulated by § 36 Higher Education Act of North
Rhine-Westphalia (Hochschulgesetz des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen).
