Professorship (W3) in the field of
Integrated Circuits

TUHH is seeking applications from candidates who have demonstrated excellent achievements in research and teaching in the area of integrated mixed-signal circuit design and testing. Applicants are expected to have an excellent international track record in foundational research and practical implementation, preferably in industry, in this area. Candidates should have a strong interest in interdisciplinary work with other engineering sciences present at TUHH and contributing to future electronic hardware systems in application domains such as electronics/photonics co-integration, cyberphysical systems, internet of things, medical engineering or industrial automation. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with a background in one or several of the following application areas:
- Low-power-electronics
- Medical electronics
- Sensors and actuators
The successful candidate will head the Institute for Integrated Circuits in the School of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics. In addition, there are excellent cooperation opportunities with the Forschungslabor Mikroelektronik Deutschland, ForLAB HELIOS and the Research Center Medical Technology Hamburg (fmthh).
The professorship is responsible for teaching in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes of the School of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics. The position holder is expected to actively contribute to the further development of the TUHH’s curricula. The ability to teach undergraduate courses in German is of advantage.
This professorship is due to commence as soon as possible.
