Job offer No: 180/2017
The Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden e.V. (IPF)
invites applications for a
position in the area of new polymer materials for stretchable electronics.
fundamental as well as application-oriented research. Dresden is an important R&D hub and the city with the highest density of research

institutions, e.g. from the Leibniz and Helmholtz Associations or the Max Planck and Fraunhofer Societies cover all aspects from fundamental
to applied research. Close collaborations exists between all partners, creating a highly dynamic environment and the opportunity for
cutting-edge and high-impact research.
The project covers two areas:
- Synthesis of polymer materials for applications in stretchable electronics.
- Comprehensive material characterization including physico-chemical studies, assessment of morphology and structure, as well as study of mechanical, electrical and optoelectrical properties.
A master degree in chemistry (or equivalent) is obligatory. Talented, highly motivated and hardworking candidates
with a solid background in the field of organic electronics and good skills regarding synthesis and characterization of (opto)electronic properties of organic and polymeric compounds.
The position is planned as a 2/3 position E13 TV-L over one year (Start: 01.11.2017) with the option of extending
