Senior Research Fellow / Postdoc (m/f/div)
initially limited to two years

This position is located within the intellectual property department of the Institute which focuses on the incentives, determinants, and implications of innovation. Within the realm of the department’s research on sustainability and life sciences, we are looking for postdocs who are interested in the field of sustainability and climate change, including – but not limited to – incentives for new technologies for mitigation of climate change effects, issues of green washing, and knowledge transfer in this field on a global scale. Based on the premise, that new technologies and their widespread adoption are one of the most promising ways to mitigate the effects of climate change, the Institute has established a new research area to investigate the legal and regulatory challenges for innovation, competition, and technology transfer in that field.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for senior research fellow/postdocs with a background in law and a passion for technology who would like to work on issues of innovation and competition in the above mentioned research areas. Knowledge of intellectual property and/or competition law is an advantage.

The gross salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD).
