Extent of employment:
Full time, 40 hours/week
Independent research in the fields Behavioral and Experimental Finance
Teaching and mentoring of students
Contributions to the university self-administration are expected
Completed PhD/doctoral degree in the area of social, business, or economic science or equivalent.
Excellent knowledge on research in Behavioral and Experimental Finance and academic achievements beyond the dissertation/PhD thesis in this field.
Highly elaborated knowledge in research methods, particularly in experimental research in finance.
Particular focus on experiments with financial professionals, field experiments, studies combining experimental and empirical data, and/or online experiments.
Independent high quality teaching experiences; ability to teach in English (immediately) and German (no later than 4 years after start of employment).
Post-doc academic experience in the field of Behavioral and Experimental Finance.
Experience in successful third party funding, in academic mobility and in having established an international academic network in the field of Behavioral and Experimental Finance.
Teamwork abilities; collaboration and communication skills to facilitate an interdisciplinary dialogue between research and professional practice.
The salary for this position will be at least € 3.804 / month before taxes (14x per year). The salary may be higher with relevant work experience. Furthermore the University of Innsbruck provides numerous attractive further provisions (https://www.uibk.ac.at/universitaet/zusatzleistungen/).
