Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Photochemical Organic Chemistry. This is a position associated to the group of Prof Davide Bonifazi, to work on the development and understanding of photochemical process with functional organic systems for applications in chemical transformation, materials science and optoelectronic devices. The successful candidate will join a thriving international research team combining expertise in strong organic synthesis, self-assembly, materials science and spectroscopic characterization. This position is ideally suited for an ambitious early career researcher with a background in synthetic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and/or materials chemistry. Independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement. Supervision of students.
Applications are invited for a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organic Supramolecular Photochemistry.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in chemistry with a strong experience with functional organic molecules, physical organic chemistry, and organic photochemistry or a closely aligned discipline, together with a proven track record in characterization and understanding of photochemical properties/processes of organic molecular systems as exemplified by academic publications in international leading journals. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Experience of laboratory organisation and management is a significant benefit, as well as familiarity with grant proposal application procedures, supervision of master and PhD students and previous international experience. Proven independent writing of publications.
