Studies on supramolecular chemistry with biological applications, with emphasis on new approaches for the design of 2D and 3D cellular assemblies based on yeast - Schizosaccharomyces Pombe and using an external stimuli (light) being able to regulate given biological functions. Supervision of students. We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months.

A master in Chemistry with speciality in Medicinal Chemistry and profound knowledge and practical experience in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. Ability to work independently. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Experience in the field of organic multistep synthesis of natural products including stereoselective synthetic methodologies. Documented experience with metal-catalyzed reactions (olefination metathesis and related reactions) will be a considered an added value.
