A PraeDoc position is available at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences for a period of four years. The work involves participation in scientific research projects in the area of ligand- and structure-based design with focus on new approach methods. We expect active interaction with the partners of the EU-project RiskHunt3r. The conclusion of a dissertation agreement or the existence of such an agreement is expected, as well as the participation in scientific publications and in teaching of courses to the extent of the collective agreement. The employment contract is initially limited to 1.5 years and is automatically extended to a total of 4 years, unless the employer declares non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months.

Extent of Employment: 30.0 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
Job Description:
The Pharmacoinformatics Research at the Department for Pharmaceutical Sciences is developing novel methods for predicting toxicity of small molecules and antibodies. Profile:
Master/Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification. Professional competence: Relevant expertise in protein homology modeling and ligand docking - High ability to express yourself both orally and in writing - Excellent command of written and spoken English - IT user skills - Ability to work in a team
