Our program combines the strengths of European and American graduate systems. It is geared entirely towards doctoral education and training.
Our structures permit flexible entry into the doctoral program for the best students according to their academic background. You can start with an excellent Bachelor's degree or come in with a very good advanced degree, either in computer science or in a related area. The Saarbrücken campus of Saarland University offers a unique and stimulating research environment in informatics.
Academic and research training is provided by an impressively large group of advanced researchers. Collaboration is possible with over 180 researchers at the postdoctoral or professorial level.
