Job description
The Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is seeking to fill a full-time postdoctoral position (non-tenure
track) starting as soon as possible for an initial term of six years.
Your role
- Lead a third-party funded research project, with responsibility for project management, stakeholder
engagement, and cross-functional coordination - Contribute to the strategic development of the institute by taking on a leadership role in advancing its
research and teaching programs - Collaborate closely with national and international industry partners (e.g., Microsoft, Generali, OeNB, Porsche Holding, REWE)
- Publish high-quality scholarly articles, both from independent research projects and in collaboration with
senior and junior faculty - Co-supervise doctoral candidates and teach at the bachelor’s, master’s, and MBA levels, with the opportunity
to independently design innovative, problem-based learning formats
Your profile
- Completed doctoral or PhD studies (postdoc) in economics, social sciences, or related fields
- Expertise in entrepreneurship and/or technology and/or innovation management
- Proven experience in independently leading and advancing research or collaborative projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to manage diverse
stakeholders - High level of initiative, strategic thinking, and execution capability
- Genuine interest in industry collaborating and applied research
- Proficiency in empirical social research and statistical methods
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and German
