The Department of Biological Sciences and Pathobiology seeks to appoint a
Professorship
in accordance with § 98 of the 2002 Universities Act.
Field of activity
The professorship is affiliated to the Centre of Pathobiology and is intended to focus on research, teaching and in cooperation with the preclinical facilities and the clinics dealing with virus-related, particularly zoonotic or emerging infectious diseases. According to the development plan of the University of Veterinary Medicine, the expansion of interdisciplinary, translational research should be pursued, so that the findings from research activities support the One Health concept of Vetmeduni.
