Research Position in Human-Computer Interaction (full-time, E 13 TV-L)

Reference No: 2026/034. The start date is May 1st, 2026, or by agreement. The position for a doctoral or postdoctoral researcher is available initially for 2 years, with potential for prolongation, and is paid according to the collective agreement E 13 TV-L. We work toward improving interaction with immersive technologies through novel user interfaces and interaction techniques by studying human perceptual processing, behavior, and experience. The advertised PhD/Postdoc position should take a focus on supporting social human-human and human-AI interactions in mixed reality (AR, VR and all in-between), investigating both fundamental and applied research questions. We are looking for a candidate who is inherently curious, self-driven, and independent in their research, but also values teamwork and thrives in collaboration. The working language is English.
