The Center for Business Transformation (ChanCe) at the School of Business and Economics of the University of Münster is currently inviting applications for the position of
a Full, Chaired
Professorship in Transformation of Work
(tenured, salary level W3)
To commence on 1 April 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
We envision that the professorship will further strengthen the Center in terms of its global reputation for research, teaching, impact, and value to business and society. Therefore, we are looking for an outstanding personality and engaged scholar who addresses the fundamental question of how technological and societal change affects work, employees, companies and models of value generation. In particular, we seek candidates who investigate how the interactions between businesses, society, technology and institutions have changed and will change, and how these changes affect the organization and management of work and employees. In that, we are open to welcoming diverse profiles within the field of business administration. Considering the Center’s profile, we are particularly seeking candidates with an outstanding publication record in internationally renowned journals (UT Dallas ranking or Financial Times Top 50 Journals).
