The Danube Private University (DPU), Austria, invites outstanding graduates to apply for its newly established Ph.D. Program in Precision and Personalized Medicine. This six-semester doctoral program is designed for talented candidates from the life sciences, medicine, engineering, computer science, and related disciplines who aspire to develop innovative solutions at the interface of research, clinical practice, and technology.

Based at the Technology and Research Center (TFZ) Wiener Neustadt, the program follows a unique bench-to-bedsideapproach, integrating fundamental research, translational medicine, and entrepreneurship.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should:

• Hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, medicine, engineering, computer science, biotechnology, or a related field
• Demonstrate an excellent academic record and strong research potential
• Have a strong interest in interdisciplinary and translational research
• Secure the agreement of a prospective DPU supervisor prior to application

Funding

Successful applicants receive a competitive funding package including:

• Gross monthly salary of €3,000 (14 payments per year)
• Conference and mobility funding for international collaborations
• Participation in entrepreneurship and commercialization programs
• Additional workshops on innovation, intellectual property, and technology transfer
