Your personal sphere of influence:
As a university assistant prae doc, you will complete the team around Prof. Dr. Matin Eisend at the Department of Marketing and International Business. In addition to your independent research, you will take on tasks such as independent and supportive teaching of courses and examinations and supervision of students as well as support in research, organizational and administrative tasks.
Your future tasks:
The successful candidate will engage in the following activities:
- Contribute to the teaching and research activities of the Marketing research group with a focus on Marketing Communication.
- Independent teaching of courses in Marketing as defined by the collective agreement.
- Write a doctoral thesis; we expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months.
- Additional tasks: supervision of students, involvement in the department administration.
This is part of your personality:
- MA or MSc in the study field of Business Administration or related areas (Psychology, Communication) with a focus on Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and/or Advertising
- excellent command of written and spoken English
- excellent skills in statistics and statistics software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, etc.)
- experience in scientific writing (in English), experience in data collection and analyses

Duration of contract: The employment duration is 4 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.
