Technician

Your personal sphere of influence:

The Polz lab is housed within the Centre for Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science. Consisting of currently 6 postdocs, 4 PhD students and one technician, the lab offers a highly collaborative and open work environment with opportunities for learning and personal growth.

The project goal is to provide technical help in the computational analysis of gene expression data in microbial cultures grown in native seawater. 

The position is for 40 hours per week and is a temporary position for a period of 2 months.

Your future tasks:

• Data curation
• Data analysis
• Simple statistical analysis

This is part of your personality:

• Basic knowledge in bioinformatics
• Simple programming
• Good English communication skills
• Open to a collaborative work environment
