University Assistant postdoctoral

Your personal sphere of play:

Your future position is at the Department of Business Analytics and Decisions in the work group Production and Logistics. The Department of Business Analytics and Decisions is part of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics 

Your future tasks:

Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:

• You build up an independent research profile in the field of Operations Research.
• You have a proven track record (published research papers / papers under review) in the area of waste collection systems
• You have experience (publishes papers / papers under review) in the area of deep neural networks and their variants (e.g., spiking neural networks)
• You publish internationally and give lectures.
• You apply for projects and raise third-party funds.
• You prepare and complete a publication-ready habilitation.
• You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
• You supervise your students.
• You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance.
• You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.

This is part of your personality:

•    Completed doctoral/PhD studies in subject Business or Operations Research or Computer Science
•    Experience in research management and in leading project staff
•    IT skills and excellent programming skills
•    Knowledge of: exact and metaheuristic solution methods in Operations

•    Excellent knowledge of English (C1) / other foreign language
•    Team player and high social/communicative skills
