6 open doctoral positions in Research Training Group RTG 2624 (Ref.-Nr. w115-23)
In the Research Training Group (RTG 2624) innovative biostatistical methods for the analysis of high-dimensional data for modelling and risk assessment in toxicology are developed and applied. The three project areas are regression, prediction and integration (see picture above).
Doctoral researchers acquire knowledge in toxicology and develop statistical methods for pharmacological and environmental toxicology, optimally exploiting the flood of high-dimensional complex molecular data.
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
A master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics or in a related field (mathematics, bioinformatics, computer science or epidemiology with significant share of statistics) with short study time and very good grades
Interest in medical, biological or toxicological applications; a corresponding minor subject in the master study programme or life-science oriented work as student or in master thesis is desirable but not required
High motivation to perform and scientific interest in topics of the RTG, demonstrated in a motivation letter and in the personal communication during application process

No teaching duties, pure research position
