Cottbus-Senftenberg - invites applications for the following position to be filled as soon as
W1 Junior Professorship for Medical Ethics
with a focus on Digitization (Tenure Track)
We aim to fill this role with an individual who has a research profile with international visibility
in the field of medical ethics and who has been successful in obtaining external funding. It is
essential that the professorship deal with the ethical aspects of digitized medicine. Cooperation
with existing research activities and with ethics committees is expected. The professorship will
work in the Faculty of Health Sciences, which is in the process of being established. The
central research topic of the new faculty is the medicine and health of aging.
The person who will be appointed will be involved in teaching in new degree programs and
will be able to fully represent the subject of ethics in teaching.
