PostDoc (m/f/d)
in Mainz
Your tasks:
Active collaboration in the BMBF-funded, interdisciplinary research core "DIASyM -Data-Independent Acquisition-based Systems Medicine: Mass spectrometry for high-throughput deep phenotyping of the heart failure syndrome"
Investigating and researching heart failure using biodata acquired by the German Center for Cardiovascular Research e.V. (DZHK) funded cohort study and biodatabase "MyoVasc" (www.myovasc.de)
Conducting systems medicine-oriented, clinical-epidemiological analysis projects, processing results and writing scientific publications
Participating in the writing of proposals and project outlines for the acquisition of third-party funding
Your profile:
Completed university studies with very good doctoral thesis in medicine, (molecular) epidemiology, life sciences, bioinformatics, or biostatistics with additional training, education or previous experience in medicine-related research projects
Knowledge of biomedical analysis and interpretation of human diseases, desirably cardiovascular diseases, especially heart failure
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (German language skills are not required)
Strong teamwork skills
