The 4EU+ European University Alliance is a transnational strategic association of Charles University in Prague, Heidelberg University, Sorbonne University in Paris, the University of Warsaw, the University of Copenhagen and the University of Milan. The Alliance aims to create a new quality of cooperation between the six European research universities in education, teaching, research, transfer, and administration. The quality management system (QMS) on educational activities within the 4EU+ Alliance integrates procedures of internal auditing and external reviewing and contains regular evaluation and monitoring based on quantitative and qualitative data and reports.
Within the second project phase of strengthening and further developing the Alliance and its QMS, the following position is to be filled (full position, limited in time until October 31
st, 2026):
Alliance Referee for Quality Management (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Piloting and adjusting the internal auditing and external reviewing procedures of quality assurance and quality enhancement of the 4EU+ Alliance
- Advancing and fine-tuning processes, criteria, and tools as well as developing new evaluation instruments for educational offers
- Supporting the six partner universities and their local offices in handling the QMS and its software platform, and compiling reports as a basis for recommendations and decisions of different bodies within the Alliance
- Preparing meetings of the respective bodies on QM issues (Academic Council, Management Committee, External Reviewing Board) and coordinating the follow-up
- Communication of recommendations and decisions of the respective bodies within the Alliance and in close cooperation with the office of the Secretary General
Your qualifications:
- Master degree and proven / substantial expertise in quality management / evaluation / accreditation in the European Higher Education Area
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English (advantage: skills in at least one additional language of the six partner universities) and intercultural competencies
- Excellent conceptual as well as organizational skills
- Reliable handling of data, analyses and reports
- Structured, service-oriented and team-oriented working
