Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) Organizational
Behavior (100%)
The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are seeking candidates for an assistant
professorship in the field of Organizational Behavior. The triple accredited (EQUIS,
AACSB, AMBA) university offers a stimulating research environment with a large network
ranging from start-ups, small businesses to large firms to engage in field studies.
The thematic focus of this position is on understanding, explaining and transforming attitudes
and behaviors of individuals and groups in organizations. Possible profiles may include research
on learning and motivation, power and negotiation, wellbeing and stress, justice, ethics,
(corporate) responsibility, organizational culture and governance.

knowledge with societal relevance to students at all levels.
We seek candidates to fill the position per February 1st, 2023 or by mutual agreement. The appointment
is for 6 years, with an intermediate evaluation after 3 years. Based on a tenure track
process, successful candidates can be promoted to a tenured Associate Professor position.
Teaching can be in English exclusively. The University's administrative language is German. If
the successful candidate has no prior knowledge of German, he or she will be expected to acquire
a passive knowledge of the language within two years.
