CRC/TRR 270 Junior Researcher (PhD) or Junior Research Group Leader (Post-doc) position (f/m/d)
Collaborative Research Centre/Transregio (CRC/TRR) 270
The Collaborative Research Centre/Transregio (CRC/TRR) 270 ( https://www.tu-darmstadt.de/sfb270/) involves internationally leading researchers from TU Darmstadt, Universität Duisburg-Essen, Max Planck Institute for Iron Research and Ernst Ruska-Centre for Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Electrons (ER-C) at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Their common goal is the development of new magnetic materials for efficient energy conversion technologies. This requires a detailed understanding of the structural, magnetic and electronic interactions within the material in order to adjust the local and global properties. The research within CRC/TRR combines modern computational sciences with advanced characterization and synthesis methods and new processing techniques like additive manufacturing and severe plastic deformation.
