The Technische Hochschule Wildau (THWi) – University of Applied Sciences - is one of
the leading universities in Brandenburg. With about 3,700 students, 80 professors, and
350 employees, the THWi Wildau distinguishes itself as an university with short decisionmaking

International Affairs (ZfIA):
Head of the Strategic International
Partnerships and Programs Division

The pay group is in accordance with TV-L (E13). This is a permanent, full-time position.
You are mainly responsible for establishing the „Strategic International Partnerships„ division
and, in addition, coordinating the cooperation between the other ZfiA departments. You
will communicate international topics within the university, support the project managers of
international projects (for example, cooperation in the field of double degrees and degree
programme exportation) and advise university members on the acquisition of third-party funds
within the framework of programs for university internationalization or advertise them yourself.
At the same time, the (further) development of the internationalization strategy of the THWi in
close cooperation with university leadership is an integral part of your field of activity.

You have a successfully completed university degree (master's degree or equivalent) as
well as relevant professional experience, preferably in the field of „International Affairs“ at an
university, as well as having experience with DAAD-programs. You have very good knowledge
of the international education landscape and have international experience. Your spoken
and written German and English skills are excellent, and you preferably have other foreign
language skills. You love to work autonomously and independently, are quick to understand
new issues and have a strong service and consulting orientation, are flexible, like to travel
and have very good communication and team skills. Leadership or management experience
is an advantage.
