PhD Student on the topic “Forward genetics approach to delineation of radioresistance marker genes”

Description:
Establish a translational ex vivo model for studying resistance to radiotherapy
Perform genomics and transcriptomics analysis in radioresistant ex vivo model
Functional investigation of omics findings through CRISPR screening
Validation of genes mediating radioresistance in an in vivo model
Work in cooperation with clinicians, biostatisticians and genetic engineering experts
Your profile:
Master degree in biology, biotechnology, biomedicine or related fields
Familiarity with cancer biology, especially cancer genomics
Expertise in mammalian cell culture, familiarity with 3D culture would be a bonus
Basic skills in molecular biology techniques such as cloning, nucleic acid isolation, PCR, Western blot
Familiarity with basic CRISPR techniques
Willingness to learn how to analyze next generation sequencing data (R)
Strong commitment and motivation to work independently
Desire to perform in an international and dynamic team
Fluency in spoken and written English
